I just finished reading Apology by Plato, which is Socrates' speech before he is sentanced to death, and it's a-mazing!!! Socrates is a fiesty one. I'm pretty sure the title is where we now get the word Apologetic(n.) from, cause he wasn't sorry for anything. I pulled a Socrates once, earlier this year when I quit Bloomingdale's. I probably should have read the story first, because as you can note it has it's consequences. But I will now summarize for you the story as well as defining the term; basically the speech goes like this:
My dear Athenians,
You don't know shit, You're full of shit, You ain't shit!
I'm out!
Socrates
You're welcome.
